We know nothing beats coming to a professional studio, vibing out and just focusing completely on the music with no distractions. It’s great having an experienced audio engineer coach and guide you through the session, all while making you sound amazing and taking care of all the frustrating technical things. However, this Coronavirus shutdown doesn’t mean you can’t get the professional audio engineering help you need.
We’re bringing our Toronto studio to you… virtually!
That’s right, you’ll be in your home studio jamming in isolation while the pros in our studio are monitoring and recording your stream live. We will assist you with your setup and test everything out to ensure we’re able to capture the best sounding audio possible from your end. We’ll edit everything for you in real-time and you’ll be able to hear back the results instantly. Then after your remote session, since we have the files already, we can mix and master your work and bring it to a commercial level. How cool is that! Are you ready?

What do I need to get started?
- A microphone (dynamic or condenser)
- A quiet and distraction-free space to record
- An audio interface & computer
- DAW software, such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Audacity, or any other that allows you to insert plugins
- A fast and reliable internet connection (min. 10 Mbps recommended)
- Remote desktop software (TeamViewer recommended)
- Webcam or smartphone for video conferencing (recommended but optional)
If you are still unsure about your home recording set-up, we recommended some good audio interfaces and microphones to buy in Part 1 of our series.
How do I get my remote recording session started?
If you’re ready to start working with us, you can purchase one of our remote recording packages or hourly recording, ordering information is available on the remote studio services page. After you order, we’ll be in touch with you to arrange the session date, you’ll receive our home set-up guide and an invitation link to start the recording session using our software.
I’ve already recorded my song, can you edit, tune, and mix it?
Yes, we can! Visit our online mixing and mastering page where you can upload and order your songs to get mixed and mastered. Need some help getting your songs ready for mixing? Check out Part 4 on how to get your songs ready for mixing.
