Audio Engineering &
Music Production Course in Toronto
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
This is a 10 week hands on course designed to teach anyone – beginner or intermediate – how to effectively record, edit, tune, mix and master music within TODAY’S MODERN RECORDING INDUSTRY.
You will learn the hardcore basics of engineering: acoustics, microphones, how to use EQs, dynamics, signal routing in order to effectively run a 2-track and stem based session from start to finish.
A TRUE LEARNING EXPERIENCE
Students will gain practical experience in Pro Tools and on professional-level equipment inside a bustling, world-class recording facility utilized by professionals every single day. By learning the setup, tools and workflow, students will be able to successfully function in all of today’s audio recording environments – from home studios to professional recording facilities!
What makes this audio program successful?
EXPERIENCED INSTRUCTOR
With decades of experience producing, tracking, editing, mixing and mastering for all of music genres, our instructors will teach you the essential engineering fundamentals so that in 10-weeks you will be able to run any and types of sessions inside a home or pro studio.
HANDS-ON TRAINING
While theory and curriculum are provided in this course, we find it absolutely necessary for anyone striving to be an audio engineer to learn by DOING! After learning and observing very specific actions from the instructor, each student performs practical exercises in Pro Tools, on the gear and with real artists. The instructor will guide you each step of the way!
SMALL CLASS SIZES
Small class sizes benefit our students tremendously! In many universities, students are 1 of 30-40 people jammed into a studio classroom where use the equipment infrequently. Our ideal class is between 2-4 students to allow for greater interaction between instructors and a greater opportunity to utilize the software and hardware when running a recording session from start to finish!
AFFORDABLE TUITION
At the reasonable rate of $4000, The Essentials of Audio Engineering offers a modern education in engineering for a fraction of the price that you’d find at most major colleges or universities. For example, collegiate students are required to pay $70,000+ in Tuition which includes Admission Fees, Registration Fees, Student Fees, Technology Fee, Books & Supplies, Housing, etc. We do not have any pre-requisite classes nor any additional fees so we can keep our tuition very low.

WHY DID YOU CREATE THIS AUDIO ENGINEERING COURSE?
A PROGRAM WITH IMPACT
We designed this course to be completely hands on, intimate, and provide a practical knowledge and skillset that we felt was lacking in the education of certain other audio engineering courses.
We want you to not only be comfortable working with the gear but start working with other artists in real sessions. Our 10 week course serves as a strong foundation to help you gain the right tools and confidence to start your journey in the music industry without the financial commitment of a 2-4 year program.
